JOSEPH OF NAZARETH

Play To Accent Christmas
From Different Perspective

“Joseph of Nazareth,” a one man Christmas play starring Dale Martin Swofford, will be presented in December at Jonesville First United Methodist Church.

Swofford, a professional actor before he was called into the pastoral ministry, has performed the play more than 200 times throughout the southeastern United States.

Admission will be free. An offering will be taken to enhance the Christmas celebration for less fortunate children in the Elkin-Jonesville area.

A second performance is scheduled at Ebenezer United Methodist Church. The drama, written by Frank Roughton Harvey, deals with the Nativity from the point of view of the husband of the mother of Jesus the Christ.
