Dr. L. Stacy Weaver, who in later years became the first president of Methodist College at Fayetteville, NC, was principal of Jonesville Elementary and High School in the 1930s. He lived on (and supervised) a 200-acre farm just 200 yards from the school campus. This picture appeared in the "Personalities of the Northwest" column of the Winston-Salem Journal during his 6th year as principal.
